People of Rome suffer with continuous chaos.

A Jubilee Year was officially declared by Pope Francis in Rome, as it expected for millions of pilgrims to gather around the city to observe the celebration. However, Romans are less enthusiastic and more worried, as Rome is in crisis following the discovery of corruptions as well as protests because of severed public services.

MUNTINLUPA, PHILIPPINES (Catholic Online) - About 30 million people are expected in the Eternal City, after the Pope of Mercy, declared Rome in Jubilee Year, but this may cause more of Rome's residents to become wary and frustrated following the series of scandals in corruption of their government, degradation of public services and the intense heat wave.

With even more people expected to flock to the city, amid the transportation strikes, this poses a tougher problem to combat. For people who live in the chaos, the crisis seems to have taken a toll on them.

Reports note that a number of bus drivers are forcing their passengers off without reaching a proper stop, while there are some who deliberately drive slower than walking, infuriating commuters. Those are just a couple example of part of the protest against the order created by Mayor Ignazio Marino to force bus drivers to punch their time in and out, like any other government employee.

Although Marino was not involved in any form of corruption, his popularity severely declined as Romans slowing lose their faith in him for being a "weak" leader.

On Tuesday, Mayor Marino promised his constituents 200 new buses by the end of the year, as he seeks for viable private partnerships. He also vowed to repave roads and install about 60,000 new bins for the trash that has been piling up on the city streets.

The administration hired a famous prosecutor for rooting out mob-linked corruption inside the City Hall after a series of arrests of powerful politicians and businessmen.
