Dear readers, Catholic Online was de-platformed by Shopify for our pro-life beliefs. They shut down our Catholic Online, Catholic Online School, Prayer Candles, and Catholic Online Learning Resources—essential faith tools serving over 1.4 million students and millions of families worldwide. Our founders, now in their 70's, just gave their entire life savings to protect this mission. But fewer than 2% of readers donate. If everyone gave just $5, the cost of a coffee, we could rebuild stronger and keep Catholic education free for all. Stand with us in faith. Thank you.Help Now >

LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic Online) - The search continues for Hayat Boumeddiene, the widow of Amedy Coulibaly, who killed four hostages at a kosher market in Paris.
Boumeddiene's movements have been tracked, she remains in a territory controlled in Syria by the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant, or ISIL, with a male companion.

Aside from Boumeddiene, others are suspected to be involved with the attacks. "The work on these attacks, on these terrorist and barbaric acts continues... because we consider that there are most probably some possible accomplices," Prime Minister Manuel Valls said to AlJazeera.
Footage of Coulibaly explaining how the Paris attacks would happen was released and the French police want to find the people who shot and posted the video.
Valls said finding those involved is urgent because "the threat is still present." Last weeks terrorist attacks left 17 people dead.

10,000 troops have been deployed to protect sensitive areas after the attacks. Paris' Marais district is full with police and soldiers, and approximately 4,700 of the security forces are now assigned to protect France's 717 Jewish schools, according to Interior Minister Bernard Cazeneuve.
"A little girl was telling me earlier that she wanted to live in peace and learn in peace in her school," said Cazeneuve. "That's what the government, that's what the Republic, owes to all the children in France: security in all schools, especially in the schools that could be threatened."
