SHOCKING: 'El Chapo' visited USA TWICE while hiding from authorities

Mexican drug lord, "El Chapo" visited the USA twice following his escape from a Mexican prison last July. According to his daughter, Rosa Guzman Ortiz, the cartel leader used the opportunity to visit family members living in the United States.

LOS ANGELES, CA (California Network) - Rosa Guzman Ortiz, the daughter of Sinaloa Cartel kingpin "El Chapo" Guzman, told the Guardian that her father visited the United States twice in late 2015 following his escape from a Mexican prison last July.

Guzman, 61, visited his sister in a five-bedroom home he purchased for her.

Rosa Guzman did not say where the house was located or how El Chapo evaded border security.

The U.S. Customs and Border Protection has responded, saying they have "no information that substantiates the claims in the news reports about Guzman."

El Chapo is the head of the Sinaloa cartel, which has long been rumored to have ties to the U.S. government and CIA. The cartel makes extensive use of tunnels to traffic contraband and people between the USA and Mexico.

El Chapo is now back in Mexican custody after he was recaptured in January. He is now subjected to round the clock monitoring. Plans are to extradite him to the USA where he can be held more securely.

However, if these stories are true, the implications for U.S. border security are quite serious.
