VIDEO - Hikers capture video of elusive Sasquatch in British Columbia
FREE Catholic Classes
Hikers in British Columbia have caught something curious on camera that has some wondering if it could be an elusive Sasquatch. Although the film doesn't show as much as we'd like to see the hikers say they could see a humanoid figure that was quite clearly bipedal and moving fast across difficult terrain.

LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic Online) - A group of hikers more than a mile high in the Tantalas Range, British Columbia, say they have captured a remarkable sight on camera. What appears as a little black dot on camera the hikers say was a bipedal creature, possibly a human, or possible a Sasquatch. If it is a human, then that person extraordinarily athletic.
The hikers observed what they say wasn't a bear or some other creature. According to them and preliminary examination of the video, the black figure was either wearing a single-color outfit, or was clad in fur as Sasquatch are said to be.
Change a life by donating a Bible to a veteran or a child.
The figure moved quickly over soft snow, so quickly in fact that it surprised the hikers. They were also surprised that the figure was moving alone -a foolhardy decision for a hiker in that region, and it moved up a ridge without any logical reason to do so. Its movement across terrain that led to a virtual dead-end had the hikers believing that no human would walk in that direction. The figure did not appear to be wearing snowshoes either.
Could it have been an elusive Sasquatch, perhaps scouting for food or a place to rest in the isolation of the mountains?
Nobody can say precisely why the Sasquatch are so elusive except that they either don't exist at all, which is the most likely explanation, or they are very clever and very wary of humans. Nonetheless, a handful of images, film footage, alleged footprints and other anecdotal evidence suggests that people are seeing something in the Pacific Northwest of North America.
It's virtually impossible to assess just what the hikers were observing, but it clearly was either a person who was very athletic or something else. You'll have to decide for yourself what you think it could have been.
The video reminds us that despite how smart and knowledgeable we think we are today, we still know only a fraction of what is out there in the world around us.
