Obama still wants to negotiate.

The U.S. military is ready to strike ISIS in Libya, very hard. According to Pentagon insiders, the military has prepared detailed plans for President Obama to bomb between 30 and 40 targets in Libya on his orders.

LOS ANGELES, CA (California Network) - Allied forces stand ready to bomb ISIS in Libya in a  maximum effort to diminish their strength. The airstrikes would cripple the insurgent movement allowing pro-western Libyan militias to to gain the upper hand against ISIS in Libya.

The Islamic State has felt the pain in Syria and Iraq, especially now as Russia and the United States are making more strikes, destroying oilfields and other strategic targets. This has sent ISIS leaders looking for a new place to situate their "caliphate," and Libya has proved a ready host.

The ousting of Moamar Kaddafi resulted in a virtual power vacuum that has been filled by a weak pro-western government and was quickly seized upon by anti-western militias including Al Qaeda. Now, with ISIS surging in the region, the terrorist consortium is eyeing Libya as a new home base of operations.

Fortunately, Allied forces can strike Libya even easier than Syria. However, there is no indication that Obama has the resolve to use the military to destroy ISIS in Libya.

According to sources, the meeting with Obama to brief him on the plans took place on February 22. Since then, he has show no sign he is willing to destroy ISIS in Libya. Instead, he is focused on negotiations, attempting to broker a deal between the two opposing sides.

Yet, the likelihood of middle ground between the ISIS fighters and the Libyan moderates is virtually nil. And with leadership in Syria seeking a new base of operations, they have no intention of capitulating at the negotiating table.

Only time will tell if Obama is willing to use the full might of the allied military to soften ISIS in Libya for destruction. In the meantime, ISIS grows.
