Kenya's religious leaders are adamant about never accepting homosexuality in the country.

Kenya plans to hold a unique demonstration on July 22 and 23 for President Barrack Obama's visit. According to Kenya's Republican Liberty Party, the protest intends to rally 5,000 men and women.

Highlights

MUNTINLUPA, PHILIPPINES (Catholic Online) - Vincent Kidala, the party's leader, wrote to the police on Monday to provide authorities information on the scheduled protest march from Nairobi's Freedom Corner to the streets of the capital. Kidala explained that the protest will be gathering up "totally naked men and women," and the objective is to "demonstrate the difference between men and women."

"The procession shall be carried out by approximately 5,000 totally naked men and women to protest the President Barack Obama's open and aggressive support for Homosexuality," stated Kidala in his letter to the police. "The party's main objective is for him to understand the difference between a man and a woman."

The nude protest march has already earned the commitment from 1,000 commercial sex workers in Nairobi alone. The party is continues to strive to get even politicians to participate in the protest.

Kenyan religious leaders have raised a campaign to push Obama to stop the gay rights subject matter. "We shall say to the U.S. perish with your dollars. From the word go, African traditional religion never recognized homosexuality. Homosexuality was never part of this continent," express one religious leader.

Joshua Earnest, a White House Spokesperson, said that during the President's visit to Kenya, President Obama intends to address the issue of gay rights and the need to protect gay rights.

The White House maintains that Obama will not hesitate to make it clear that the security and protection of gay rights is fundamental for human rights that every state must recognize. Obama is due in Kenya on July 24 to attend the Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES).
