We ask you, urgently: don’t scroll past this

Dear readers, Catholic Online was de-platformed by Shopify for our pro-life beliefs. They shut down our Catholic Online, Catholic Online School, Prayer Candles, and Catholic Online Learning Resources—essential faith tools serving over 1.4 million students and millions of families worldwide. Our founders, now in their 70's, just gave their entire life savings to protect this mission. But fewer than 2% of readers donate. If everyone gave just $5, the cost of a coffee, we could rebuild stronger and keep Catholic education free for all. Stand with us in faith. Thank you.

LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic Online) - Each of the children are patients at the Aflac Cancer & Blood Disorders Center of Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.

They were picked up by a limousine and treated like royalty until they reached the Atlanta Harsfield-Jackson International Airport, where they picked up their plane tickets to the North Pole.

Flight attendants dressed as elves greeted the group with song and dance at the Delta terminal. The pilot met them and offered one little boy his hat while elves handed out high-fives.

The excited children boarded their plane and, along their 45-minute flight, sang Christmas carols while munching on little goodies.

When they finally reached the "North Pole," Santa and Mrs. Claus were waiting for them with a group of smiling elves.

One mother told ABC how deeply appreciative she and her son were:

"[Delta] brought him so much excitement and happiness with a special limo ride, a magical airplane ride, and of course the chance to meet Santa and Mrs. Claus.

"For one day kids forgot about needles, chemo, hospitals and anything related to cancer. Instead, they were surrounded by elves and everything magical."

The managing director of community affairs at Delta, Tad Hutcheson, shared: "Delta has been creating these special holiday experiences for children for the past 35 years.

"Children battling cancer and blood disorders fight so hard all year, so it feels incredibly worthwhile for our company to create a day filled with magic to take their minds off their circumstances. Our employees look forward to these events every year. It is our pleasure to be a part of something so special."
