We ask you, urgently: don’t scroll past this
Dear readers, Catholic Online was de-platformed by Shopify for our pro-life beliefs. They shut down our Catholic Online, Catholic Online School, Prayer Candles, and Catholic Online Learning Resources—essential faith tools serving over 1.4 million students and millions of families worldwide. Our founders, now in their 70's, just gave their entire life savings to protect this mission. But fewer than 2% of readers donate. If everyone gave just $5, the cost of a coffee, we could rebuild stronger and keep Catholic education free for all. Stand with us in faith. Thank you.Help Now >

LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic Online) - One of the SUV's right tires burst along the I-74, sending the vehicle out of control.
It collided with a guardrail and flipped over, resulting in the three passengers falling unconscious.
Motorists along the busy interstate pulled up to the site and up to fifty people helped pull the injured people from the vehicle.
According to the Bay9News, a 9-year-old girl, was partially trapped beneath the SUV.
Dayna Gibson and her father David Lowe were one of the many who pulled over to help the people trapped in the vehicle.
They helped get the 31-year-old driver and one of the younger passengers out but Gibson said the driver needed more: "She told us that her youngest daughter was under the vehicle. So at that time all of us ran around to the other side and we saw the little girl's arm sticking out from under the vehicle."
The motorists attempted to roll the SUV over to pull the girl to safety but they weren't strong enough.
More people began to pull over and join the effort until up to 50 people surrounded the vehicle and held the SUV upright long enough for others to help the 9-year-old out.
"We achieved what would have been impossible by coming together," Gibson stated. "There were people from all walks of life there, it didn't matter."
Lowe stared, "It was surreal. Everyone from shorts and flip flops to three piece suits."
When first responders arrived, they secured the vehicle, which the Good Samaritans help upright, and the three passengers were sent to Tampa General Hospital - none of whom suffered serious injuries.
Gibson stated: "I think if we could be reminded how powerful we are together, especially during these times, we could do a lot of great things."
