LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic Online) - According to the Mirror, paramedics responded immediately but the 17-year-old died when the clot moved to his brain, causing a fatal stroke.
His family blames his 24-year-old girlfriend who has since disappeared.
Research from as far back as 1991 by the Consumer Product Safety Commission revealed more people are experimenting sexually and often hurt themselves or worse.
It is of utmost importance for people to be properly educated about the psychological, physical and spiritual effects of engaging in a sexual relationship.
The Bible tells us our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit and we should use our bodies "for the glory of God."
Part of glorifying God is to keep ourselves pure until marriage - but educating the next generation shouldn't stop at an abstinence talk.
Everyone makes mistakes and the engagement of sexual activities has been one of the most popular and easiest sins to fall into.
Teaching our children how sex works and what the human body was created to do is just as important as teaching them virginity is a gift to be given only once.
With sex plastered across every form of existing media, it is impossible to assume our kids will learn what a healthy relationship looks like on their own.
They need guidance and one of the hardest, but arguably one of the most important, things a parent can do is have "the talk."
If more kids knew the truth about sex they would be more willing to abstain from those activities until marriage.
Do your children a favor by educating and encouraging them to be smart with their bodies. One talk could make all the difference.
