We ask you, urgently: don’t scroll past this
Dear readers, Catholic Online was de-platformed by Shopify for our pro-life beliefs. They shut down our Catholic Online, Catholic Online School, Prayer Candles, and Catholic Online Learning Resources—essential faith tools serving over 1.4 million students and millions of families worldwide. Our founders, now in their 70's, just gave their entire life savings to protect this mission. But fewer than 2% of readers donate. If everyone gave just $5, the cost of a coffee, we could rebuild stronger and keep Catholic education free for all. Stand with us in faith. Thank you.Help Now >

LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic Online) - Ampler went to visit her grandmother and realized the 98-year-old woman was too weak to stand.
When Ampler tried to help her, her grandmother was unable to stand or walk.
Ampler took to Facebook to write a touching letter to her grandmother, which read:
"Ever since I was born, you are the one who took care of me and raised me, grandma. When I was feeding and giving you a bath, I couldn't help but cry, because I remember when I was just a child, you were the one doing it to us.
"Now that you are 98 years old, please let us repay what you've done for us. We love you so much and please be strong. We will not abandon you even if you are that old.
"Allow us to be your hands and feet because that's not enough for all the sacrifices you've done for us. I love you and I am crying so hard grandma."
Ampler posted several images including a few where she is crying and kissing her grandmother's face.
The posts went viral as other Facebook users recalled the love their own grandparents showed them. Many shared how much they missed their grandparents who were gone.
Ampler's love for her grandmother is obvious despite some Chinese critics who claimed the pictures were staged.
Her grandmother's expressions make it clear she is grateful for her granddaughter's help and was touched during the visit.
Prayer for Grandparents
Dear Lord,
Thank you for my grandparents.
Thank you for blessing them with your mercy and love.
I pray for healing for my grandparents and an increase of Your Holy Presence.
Thank you, Lord, for giving me time with my grandparents and for allowing me to love them with a heart molded by your example.
Amen.
