'Everything we provide is fresh': Planned Parenthood caught in new hidden-camera footage discussing profit for aborted baby parts

The Center for Medical Progress (CMP) has released another Planned Parenthood video this morning. Today's footage features Planned Parenthood officials describing their pride in being able to harvest "fresh" baby organs that "generate a fair amount of income."

Senior medical adviser for the Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA) Dr. Carolyn Westhoff told undercover investigators that a wide variety of organs are available from aborted babies.

She said, "We've just been working with people who want particular tissues, like, you know, they want cardiac, or they want eyes, or they want neural [eyes]... Certainly everything we provide -oh gonads. Oh my God, gonads ... everything we provide is fresh."

The video begins with a Panned Parenthood spokeswoman speaking to the camera, stating, "I think the American people know who Planned Parenthood is and that we are not selling body parts."

The footage immediately cuts to Vanessa Russo, Compliance Program Administrator for Planned Parenthood Keystone, saying, "A company like this that wants to give our organization money for the tissue, I think that's a valid exchange and that that's okay."

Deb CanDerhei, National Director of Consortium of Abortion Providers (CAPS), PPFA is shown saying, "We have independent colleagues, who generate a fair amount of income doing this."

42 U.S. Code 289G-2 is displayed before the introduction of the fourth episode, saying, "It shall be unlawful for any person to knowingly acquire, receive, or otherwise transfer any human fetal tissue for valuable consideration."

CMP project leader David Daleiden stated, "Planned Parenthood runs their abortion and baby parts business in open disregard for the law and should be prosecuted immediately."

PPFA vice president for external medical affairs Dr. Vaniessa Cullins worried aloud in the video, saying, "This could destroy your organization and us, if we don't time those conversations correctly."
