We ask you, urgently: don’t scroll past this

Dear readers, Catholic Online was de-platformed by Shopify for our pro-life beliefs. They shut down our Catholic Online, Catholic Online School, Prayer Candles, and Catholic Online Learning Resources—essential faith tools serving over 1.4 million students and millions of families worldwide. Our founders, now in their 70's, just gave their entire life savings to protect this mission. But fewer than 2% of readers donate. If everyone gave just $5, the cost of a coffee, we could rebuild stronger and keep Catholic education free for all. Stand with us in faith. Thank you.

The large toy is 16-foot tall.

After his son requested a bigger model of Bumblebee, the famous yellow autobot from the blockbuster hit Transformers, one father went above and beyond to create a 16-foot-tall model.

MUNTINLUPA, PHILIPPINES (Catholic Online) - When asked for a bigger Transformer toy, Wang Liansheng from Suqian, China replied, "Daddy can't afford a big model. How about I make you one?"

Despite boasting over ten years of experience as a welder, Liansheng quickly learned that building the gigantic statue required a different kind of attention to detail. He admitted there were times where he had to start over after parts didn't fit and he "had to look for pictures on the internet and try to figure things out step by step."

The project began July 2014, where Liansheng began to collect spare auto parts. By the time it was complete, he was able to give his son the 16-ft tall, 10-foot wide model crafted out of love. He even asked a professional painter to do Bumblebee's trademark yellow design.

His son is not the only one who adores the model; people have been flocking his home from miles around to see the impressive model.

Liansheng is now working on Optimus Prime in hopes of starting a business. His work on Bumblebee went well for over a year due to slow business in the shipping industry, leading him to believe the creation of another attraction can earn more profit.

"I'm thinking about the future. If this becomes big in the future, I will be able to hire seven or eight workers," he shared, full of hope and optimistic for the future.

The Daily Mail recently reported he has already finished constructing Optimus Prime's frame.
