'Airwrecker,' 'Vejonica,' 'Mazen': Extremely bizarre baby names that actually exist

Some baby name choices are unbelievable.

In just about 24 hours, a Reddit thread was able to garner more than 18,000 comments, asking its users to submit the weirdest and most horrendous names they had ever known. Without much clarity as to why some parents choose them, there are testimonies posted in the comments that people exist with names like "Orgasm," "Lucifer" and "Abstinence" exist, according to a recent article by the Daily Mail.

span style="line-height: 15.8599996566772px;">MUNTINLUPA, PHILIPPINES (Catholic Online) - A submitter said to be working in a bank, shared that there was someone named "l'munique" with the name written on their ID and in other identification documents.

Another wrote in describing a schoolmate named "Gennah Tyles," while another submitted the name "Vejonica," which was apparently mixed from the baby's grandparents' names: John and Veronica.

"Orgasm," entered by a user known as RhymesW claiming know some really bad names from being a daughter of a midwife, yet that was the worst.

There are also parents fond of giving their children celebrity names, but twisting them into a bizarre fashion. One user submitted the name "Britney Shakira Beyonce," stating that it was actually the full first name of a friend's child.

The name "Obamaniqua" was listed in the comments as a real name, meaning "A ghetto-fabulous African-American that loves president Barrack Obama," according to Urban Dictionary.

Names like "Mazen," "Hellzel," "Lucifer," "Abstinence," "Boy Boy" and "Airwrecker" were also listed. According to another user, a very young couple gave their newborn the name "Facebook" because of their addiction to the site.

In the 2014 result of BabyCentre's annual survey, names "Sophia," 'Emily" and "Lily" were the most popular names given to baby girls, while "Muhammad," "Oliver" and "Jack" for the boys.
