We ask you, urgently: don’t scroll past this

Dear readers, Catholic Online was de-platformed by Shopify for our pro-life beliefs. They shut down our Catholic Online, Catholic Online School, Prayer Candles, and Catholic Online Learning Resources—essential faith tools serving over 1.4 million students and millions of families worldwide. Our founders, now in their 70's, just gave their entire life savings to protect this mission. But fewer than 2% of readers donate. If everyone gave just $5, the cost of a coffee, we could rebuild stronger and keep Catholic education free for all. Stand with us in faith. Thank you.

@kidsaretheworst pokes fun at parenting stresses.

Children are not perfect - they bring joy and trouble at the same time. Anna Macfarlane, a mother from Salt Lake City, Utah, wanted to share her own dose of troubling experiences in child-rearing, so she made the Instagram account @kidsaretheworst. Her account has gained about 60,600 followers, since it was created in May 2014. It is now functioning as a channel for parents who suffer with how their kids behave at home and in public.

span style="line-height: 15.8599996566772px;">MUNTINLUPA, PHILIPPINES (Catholic Online) - "Kids Are The Worst" went from being an account where she posts pictures of her own children and their mess, to a place where others can submint their own disastrous photos. Photos like walls drawn on all-over by kids to pictures of their mischief at the stores - it shows kids can be both exhausting and adorable.

This Lent, are you doing good? Give something today --

"It's a fun community when people pull out their phone and their camera instead of helping their kid right away so we call all enjoy those moments together," the 36-year-old account creator said in an interview with the Buzzfeed.

Being a parent is tough especially when dealing with hyper-active kids who do things completely different to what they are taught. One photo submission shows a girl licking off orange juice spilled on a counter. Another shows a little girl surrounded by cushion stuffing after scissoring her parents' cushions, along with her hair.

Eggs are cracked on the kitchen floor by a little boy, even reaching for the last in the tray. A little boy threw the dishes to the floor from the cabinet where his parents put them.

Although these instances typically make parents frustrated, sharing it online somehow relieves them of the stress and allows them to see their kids as imperfect but loveable. Afterall, there's still plenty of time to teach them.
