We ask you, urgently: don’t scroll past this
Dear readers, Catholic Online was de-platformed by Shopify for our pro-life beliefs. They shut down our Catholic Online, Catholic Online School, Prayer Candles, and Catholic Online Learning Resources—essential faith tools serving over 1.4 million students and millions of families worldwide. Our founders, now in their 70's, just gave their entire life savings to protect this mission. But fewer than 2% of readers donate. If everyone gave just $5, the cost of a coffee, we could rebuild stronger and keep Catholic education free for all. Stand with us in faith. Thank you.Help Now >

1. Clean up vomit residue and smell with baking soda powder. Later you will see that the particles have come together in clumps which you can easily clean up later.
Keep a rosary always within your reach. Find the perfect rosaries for home, work and parish.
2. Baking soda can also be used in cleaning pee stains from your mattress.
3. You can take away sweat stains from the underarms of your child's shirt with a squeeze of lemon juice and a pinch of salt. Rub them on the fabric and you will smell the difference before and after.
4. Use a dust pan in gathering small toys after the kids' play. It's very time saving. Just make sure the dust pan is clean to ensure your child's safety.
5. Mix two tablespoons of fabric conditioner with water in a small spray bottle. That will serve as the 'doll hairspray' that young girls are in dire need of to detangle that doll hair.
6. To prevent kids from bringing too much toys out of their room, tell them that they can only use as many toys as they can fit in their pillow case. After they play, make sure to tell them to take the toys back to their room using the pillow case again.
7. Use toothpaste in removing traces of permanent marker on your hardwood floor.
8. Put gum-stained cotton clothes in the freezer to remove the gum. Hard gum is very easy to remove after freezing because it loses its stickiness when it is hard.
9. Brush the sole of your sneakers with a toothbrush and toothpaste to make cleaning very effective.
This holy season, remember the patron saint who watches over thee! Honor your patron saint with faith.
10. Make Lego bricks appear brand new by washing them in the washing machine.
Now that you've reached the end of the list, we hope that you learned something new about how to maintain cleanliness in your house for your lovely children. Remember that there is a stage in the life of our kids when whatever they get hold of can be eaten. This is why it is very important for us and for our home to remain clean and sparkly.
