We ask you, urgently: don’t scroll past this
Dear readers, Catholic Online was de-platformed by Shopify for our pro-life beliefs. They shut down our Catholic Online, Catholic Online School, Prayer Candles, and Catholic Online Learning Resources—essential faith tools serving over 1.4 million students and millions of families worldwide. Our founders, now in their 70's, just gave their entire life savings to protect this mission. But fewer than 2% of readers donate. If everyone gave just $5, the cost of a coffee, we could rebuild stronger and keep Catholic education free for all. Stand with us in faith. Thank you.Help Now >

LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic Online) - Catholic Online School has just surpassed 200,000 enrollments. The school continues to outperform from month-to-month as more people learn they can get a free Catholic education anytime, anywhere.
Just added is Ancient History. The Ancient History bundle features 12 lessons plus a final exam. It is a wonderful introduction to western civilization, and is designed to supplement classroom instruction.
In September, Catholic Online School launched Confirmation with Certificate of Completion. The course supports catechists as they prepare catechumens for their Confirmation. It can also be taken by those already confirmed as a refresher.
The Catholic Knowledge Assessment tests entry-level Catholic knowledge. Most Catholics will find the assessment easy, but for the young, and those new to the faith, it provides feedback on where more study is needed. It's also fun!
All courses in Catholic Online School are reviewed by trained Catholic clergy to ensure they conform to the magesterium, the teaching mission of the Catholic Church.
In addition to these courses, a 7-lesson course on Purgatory is coming soon, and will be published before All Saints' Day. That course is taught by Deacon Keith Fournier and will teach what Purgatory is. The course will also include apologetics, and discuss how our understanding of this state of purification after death translates into Catholic practice.
Other upcoming courses include one on the Constitution, and a new batch of courses for grades 1-8 catechism.
Catholic Online School's mission is to provide a free, world-class Catholic education to anyone, anywhere. All courses are free, with no tuition, fees, books, or materials to buy. According to a few surprising letters and emails we have received, Catholic Online School is the only resource some remote communities have for Catholic education.
Catholic Online School is supported by donations, and anyone wishing to support this critical mission may visit here to give. We encourage all to click the CatholicOnline.School link to visit the school and enroll. Take any courses you like, they are all free! See if you like what you see, and if so let us know! Tell your parish, family and friends about this great, growing resource for free Catholic education.
