Convocan Misa por la Vida el dia de la votacion del proyecto del aborto en Argentina

El 8 de agosto, dia en que el Senado de Argentina votara el proyecto del aborto libre, la Iglesia celebrara a las 8:00 p.m. la Misa por la Vida en la Catedral Metropolitana de Buenos Aires.

BUENOS AIRES (ACI Prensa) - La Eucaristia sera presidida por el Arzobispo de Buenos Aires y Primado de la Argentina, Cardenal Mario Poli, y concelebraran el Presidente del Episcopado (CEA) y Obispo de San Isidro, Mons. Oscar Ojea, obispos diocesanos, asi como el Nuncio Apostolico, Mons. Leon Kalenga Badikebele.
Luego de la Misa habra una oracion interreligiosa dirigida por mujeres de distintos credos.
El evento es promovido por varias diocesis a lo largo de todo el pais, que se uniran a esta celebracion con jornadas de oracion y vigilia en defensa de la vida.
En este contexto, el Departamento de Laicos de la CEA (Deplai) tambien animo a los catolicos de Buenos Aires a movilizarse frente al Congreso de la Nacion para una vigilia que comenzara a las 6:00 p.m. hasta el momento de la votacion, que probablemente ocurra durante la madrugada.
"El espiritu que debe animarnos es el de manifestarnos en forma pacifica y serena, con espiritu democratico y tolerante sin caer en la tentacion del desaliento o de un vano triunfalismo, cualquiera sea el resultado de la votacion", senala la invitacion de Deplai.
El proyecto que sera votado este 8 de agosto permite el aborto libre hasta la semana 14 de gestacion; y hasta los nueve meses de embarazo bajo las causales de violacion, riesgo de vida y salud de la madre e inviabilidad fetal. Ademas, prohibe la objecion de conciencia institucional.
