Vaticano presenta documento sobre las VĂrgenes Consagradas con nuevas indicaciones

La Santa Sede ha presentado la nueva Instruccion Ecclesiae Sponsae Imago que la Congregacion para los Institutos de Vida Consagrada y las Sociedades de Vida Apostolica, ha elaborado sobre las Virgenes Consagradas, una forma de vida que ha experimentado un enorme crecimiento en los ultimos anos.

VATICANO (ACI Prensa) - El Prefecto de dicha Congregacion, el Cardenal brasilenoJoao Braz De Aviz, ha explicado que se trata del primer documento de la Sede Apostolica que profundiza en este tema despues del rito liturgico y las normas contenidas en el promulgado en 1970 por voluntad de Pablo VI.
El documento "es el resultado de una amplia consulta, una obra sinodal a la cual asistieron obispos, virgenes consagradas y expertos de todo el mundo para poner de relieve las especificidades y las riquezas de esta forma de vida consagrada".
"Ecclesiae Sponsae Imago quiere ayudar a descubrir la belleza de esta vocacion, y contribuir a mostrar la belleza del Senor que transforma la vida de tantas mujeres que cada dia la experimentan", expreso el Cardenal en la presentacion.
En el ano 2020 se celebrara ademas el 50 aniversario del Rito de consagracion de las virgenes, el Ordo Consecrationis Virginum, querido por Pablo VI en 1970, y en el cual se dispuso la posibilidad de consagrar tambien a las mujeres que permanecen en su contexto de vida ordinario, segun las modalidades del antiguo Ordo virginum.
El documento se divide en tres partes: la vocacion y el testimonio de la Ordo virginum, su configuracion en las Iglesias particulares y en la Iglesia universal y el discernimiento vocacional y la formacion de la orden.
