LOS ANGELES, CA (California Network) - Pope Francis warned Polish bishops about "Gender Theory." This is how he refers to the notion that people can choose their gender. The idea is spreading in schools and around the globe as misinformation propagates.
Pope Francis also referred to it as a form of "ideological colonization."
"Today, children are taught this at school: that everyone can choose their own sex. And why do they teach this? Because the books come from those people and institutions who give money," the Pope said.
"God created man and woman; God created the world like this and we are doing the exact opposite."
As the lies of Satan spread, one of the most insidious is that there is no objective truth. Whether one is male or female is the product of choice, not DNA.
If people can be made to doubt the truth of their own sex, they can doubt anything.
Pope Francis reminded bishops that their place was among the people, particularly the youth. He offered the example of Pope John Paul II who as a bishop frequently accompanied the youth on trips. It was also Pope John Paul II (now Saint Pope John Paul II) who also established World Youth Day.
Only by their presence near the people can priests and bishops counteract such lies. One bishop referred to the lies as, "atheist-liberal contemporary culture.
