We ask you, urgently: don’t scroll past this
Dear readers, Catholic Online was de-platformed by Shopify for our pro-life beliefs. They shut down our Catholic Online, Catholic Online School, Prayer Candles, and Catholic Online Learning Resources—essential faith tools serving over 1.4 million students and millions of families worldwide. Our founders, now in their 70's, just gave their entire life savings to protect this mission. But fewer than 2% of readers donate. If everyone gave just $5, the cost of a coffee, we could rebuild stronger and keep Catholic education free for all. Stand with us in faith. Thank you.Help Now >

Viral footage on YouTube purports to show a pair of UFOs, but we doubt this explanation. Instead, it has been suggested that what you are witnessing is a pair of angels.

LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic Online) - Viral footage uploaded recently to YouTube has been said to show a pair of UFOs over a small city in Austria. However, there are no other reports and nothing is said to have appeared on radar.
They do not seem to be aircraft, nor do they move in a logical manner which would be consistent with aircraft, or even spacecraft. The phenomena could also be ball lightning, but there does not appear to be a thunderstorm in the video to produce it.
In the video, the two orbs of light come together in a coordinated fashion, and appear to dance in a circle before returning to the heavens.
We believe a plausible explanation is that you are viewing a pair of angels.
Witnesses who claim to have seen angels have often describe them as luminous. Is that what we're seeing here?
If so, then why are there angels over Austria, visible to the world? Do they portend a great miracle? Do they bring a message, or have they come for another purpose? At this time, it is impossible to know, but in several books of the Bible, we are told "there will be signs in the heavens." (Genesis 1:14, Jeremiah 10:2, Joel 2:30, Luke 21:11, Luke 21:25, Revelation 12:1, Revelation 12:3, and MATTHEW 24:30).
We cannot say that what we are viewing here is a miraculous sign from heaven, but we cannot say that it isn't. Furthermore, what we have witnessed defies all terrestrial explanation. Nor does it seem logical that these are visitors from another world. For us, the most plausible explanation is that these are angels dancing in the sky. Whether they are or not, we should take this moment to be reminded that the Sacraments of Reconciliation and Holy Communion are available to us and we should receive them often.
We know not the hour!
