We ask you, urgently: don’t scroll past this
Dear readers, Catholic Online was de-platformed by Shopify for our pro-life beliefs. They shut down our Catholic Online, Catholic Online School, Prayer Candles, and Catholic Online Learning Resources—essential faith tools serving over 1.4 million students and millions of families worldwide. Our founders, now in their 70's, just gave their entire life savings to protect this mission. But fewer than 2% of readers donate. If everyone gave just $5, the cost of a coffee, we could rebuild stronger and keep Catholic education free for all. Stand with us in faith. Thank you.Help Now >
Prayer Garden becomes site of miracles
FREE Catholic Classes
In 2002, God spoke to Max Greiner. He sent Greiner a vision of a sculpture garden where people can meet Him without first having to move through a religious filter.

LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic Online) - After a long struggle, Greiner finally decided to begin a new form of evangelism that some call "Eye Gate Evangelism."
Greiner's project was to build beautiful Sculpture Prayer Gardens along major highways around the world to "present the Gospel in multiple languages to millions of 'un-churched' visitors."
Greiner told CBN the Prayer Garden was erected in Kerrville, Texas, and boasts a 77-foot-tall "empty cross.""The empty cross is the main sculpture, contemporary sculpture made of CorTen steel," Greiner described. "It's 77 feet tall and it weighs approximately 70 tons."
The Coming King Sculpture Prayer Garden is composed of donated art and sculptures about Jesus' life. Greiner explained the Prayer Garden attracts people who want to look at art as well as those searching for "an outdoor garden experience. And in the process they find God."
He said the garden shares the same latitude as Israel and calls it the "bible belt of Texas." He even described the plants, rocks and hills to be similar to those found in Israel.
The Garden includes a stone path that eventually reaches the empty cross. Along the way, visitors can read a variety of Bible verses explaining God's love in English, Spanish and German.
Volunteer chaplains are also available, but for those who wish to remain anonymous or who want to experience God on their own, prayer requests can be written on stones to be placed near the empty cross.
The Coming King Sculpture Prayer Garden has seen several visitors, many of whom have reported miracles.
"Addictions are being broken off, alcoholics are coming, drug addicts are coming," Greiner said. "Again 19 people were suicidal that we know of, and came up and God set them free from the spirit of suicide. And they gave their life to Christ."
To bring an even heavier amount of God's presence to the garden, Greiner announced a pre-Easter celebration will be launched the Saturday before, when Christian bands, worship teams and speakers of different denominations perform and speak at no cost to any and all visitors.
"All you have to do is come and you'll find Jesus there, " Greiner said. "You'll find the Holy Spirit there, and the Father's there. And it's for everybody, whether you're a believer or whether you're from other religions or no religion, or just wondering.
"We just invite you to come."
