Little girl looking Dear readers, Catholic Online was de-platformed by Shopify for our pro-life beliefs. They shut down our Catholic Online, Catholic Online School, Prayer Candles, and Catholic Online Learning Resources—essential faith tools serving over 1.4 million students and millions of families worldwide. Our founders, now in their 70's, just gave their entire life savings to protect this mission. But fewer than 2% of readers donate. If everyone gave just $5, the cost of a coffee, we could rebuild stronger and keep Catholic education free for all. Stand with us in faith. Thank you. Help Now >

LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic Online) - Responding to popular demand, Catholic Online will post daily readings on its YouTube channel for all to view and share. The daily readings will still be posted on Catholic.org and will still be emailed to people who want them.

By offering the video option, Catholic Online will broaden the audience for daily readings while also making the readings available in an audio-visual format.

Thousands of people visit Catholic.org each day to enjoy the daily readings, reading them as part of their morning prayer or as a daily devotion. The daily readings are the official readings from Catholic scripture as assigned by the liturgical calendar; they are the same readings you will hear at Mass.

Catholic Online's YouTube is becoming a popular destination with thousands of people viewing the latest content about the saints, prayers, and now daily readings. The videos provide a new way to interact with this important content. The content is viewable from any device, and can be enjoyed from a smartphone, tablet, or desktop computer.

People who enjoy the video format are strongly encouraged to subscribe to the Catholic Online YouTube channel, so they may get the latest updates as soon as possible.

Other content will be coming in 2016 that will engage Catholics. A short, upcoming series investigates the question, "Is there a fourth secret of Fatima?" Other topics will deal with Pope Francis, current events, and how these things relate to Catholic teaching.  The top saints, prayers and other Catholic information will be updated regularly. But in order to get this free, premium-quality content, people will need to subscribe to the Catholic Online YouTube channel.

Readers are encouraged to share this news with their friends on social media, so they don't miss out on these exciting new features.
