We ask you, urgently: don’t scroll past this
Dear readers, Catholic Online was de-platformed by Shopify for our pro-life beliefs. They shut down our Catholic Online, Catholic Online School, Prayer Candles, and Catholic Online Learning Resources—essential faith tools serving over 1.4 million students and millions of families worldwide. Our founders, now in their 70's, just gave their entire life savings to protect this mission. But fewer than 2% of readers donate. If everyone gave just $5, the cost of a coffee, we could rebuild stronger and keep Catholic education free for all. Stand with us in faith. Thank you.Help Now >

Owners of Sweet Cakes by Melissa, Aaron and Melissa Klein, face a whooping fine of $135,000 for emotional damages, after refusing to make a wedding cake for a lesbian couple back in 2013. The issue became national news and the couple later lost the cake shop. With their current plight, as well as among the others concerning the LGBTQ movement, one pastor is helping them.

MUNTINLUPA, PHILIPPINES (Catholic Online) - Pastor Franklin Graham expressed his frustration about the issues facing Christian business owners, like the Kleins, describing the fine "alarming" and "unbelievable" through a Facebook post over the weekend.
"This is wrong, and it's happening right here in our own country. Liberal judges and officials siding with the LGBT crowd are trying to make a point with the undeserved punishment of this family," the evangelist wrote on the social networking site, explaining that the persecution turned the Kleins' lives upside down.
Pastor Graham encourages all Christians to pray for them as well as others whom are in the same dilemma.
Due to the pressures Christians face for refusing to serve gay weddings, he announced the creation of the "Persecuted Christians-USA Fund."
"The fund was created to help persecuted Christians in the U.S., including Aaron and Melissa Klein. It was only activated a little over a week ago and the organization has not yet announced any numbers," he told The Blaze in a statement through his organization. Graham runs the Samaritan's Purse which is currently focused on international relief operations for Nepal.
The launch of the fundraising drive for the Kleins in GoFundMe was able to raise more than $100,000 reportedly within nine hours. However, that was put into halt after the site took down their page because the formal charges given by local authorities for violating the Oregon state law on '"discriminatory acts."
