Half of black men who practice homosexual conduct will be diagnosed with HIV/AIDS. The startling statistic comes from the Centers for Disease Control which completed their first-ever study of homosexual black men.

LOS ANGELES, CA (California Network) - Fewer Americans are catching HIV today with just 1 in 99 Americans now likely to get the disease. Most of those victims practice homosexual behavior or inject drugs intravenously. It should be understood that heterosexual activity can also result in HIV infection as well as accidental infection, although cases of accidental infection are now extremely rare.
At current rates of infection, 1 in 64 men in the U.S. will be diagnosed with HIV in their lifetime and 1 in 227 women. However, those rates are overall. When evaluating victims by race, the numbers become grim.
Blacks as a race have much higher rates of HIV transmission. One in 20 black men will be diagnosed with HIV, regardless of if they choose to engage in homosexual or heterosexual activity. One in 48 black women will also be diagnosed with HIV. Sexual promiscuity is by far the primary cause of infection. Culture plays a major role in the difference between transmission rates. Black gay culture is inherently self-destructive.
Whites have the lowest risk with less than a one percent chance of infection overall.
While knowledge of HIV/AIDS is widespread, and schools provide education on the topic to children, rates of infection remain high where sexual promiscuity is prevalent. Homosexual activity is exceedingly dangerous, especially for black men, yet abstinence is hardly promoted as a solution to the crisis.
Among married heterosexual couples, monogamy is an excellent preventative measure.
The rates of HIV infection are dropping overall thanks to public education and better healthcare practices. HIV infection is hardly a death sentence anymore as increasingly powerful drugs can now keep the disease at bay for a very long time. Considerable research is being expended to discover a cure. Yet, the disease is still disruptive and devastating and people still die from it today.
The best way to avoid HIV infection is to limit oneself to one sexual partner within the context of heterosexual marriage. Bar none, those who keep to this natural limitation, or who practice abstinence, and who avoid certain drugs, have virtually zero chance of becoming infected with HIV, except for extremely rare cases of accidental transmission.
If sexual promiscuity came to an end, so too would HIV. The billions spent on finding a cure for this sexually transmitted disease could be spent on other things like ending childhood hunger or alleviating poverty. With the exception of drug abuse and accident, you can only catch HIV through sexual activity. Most sexual activity involves a choice to engage in intimate physical contact with another person. The final responsibility to avoid HIV infection lies with the individual. The information, the warnings have all been issued, there remain no excuses.
