We ask you, urgently: don’t scroll past this
Dear readers, Catholic Online was de-platformed by Shopify for our pro-life beliefs. They shut down our Catholic Online, Catholic Online School, Prayer Candles, and Catholic Online Learning Resources—essential faith tools serving over 1.4 million students and millions of families worldwide. Our founders, now in their 70's, just gave their entire life savings to protect this mission. But fewer than 2% of readers donate. If everyone gave just $5, the cost of a coffee, we could rebuild stronger and keep Catholic education free for all. Stand with us in faith. Thank you.Help Now >

10 minutes: Sugar equivalent to 100 percent of the daily recommended intake hits the system but because of the phosphoric acid, the individual does not vomit from the sweetness.
20 minutes: Insulin burst happens as blood sugar rises, then liver will turn sugar into fat.
40 minutes: Caffeine is completely absorbed. "Your pupils dilate, your blood pressure rises, as a response your livers dumps more sugar into your bloodstream. The adenosine receptors in your brain are now blocked preventing drowsiness."
45 minutes: Pleasure centers of the brain are stimulated because of a large production of dopamine, the same way as heroin.
60 minutes: "The phosphoric acid binds calcium, magnesium and zinc in your lower intestine, providing a further boost in metabolism."
>60 minutes: Diuretic acid from caffeine activates, making the individual feel like peeing. However, it would take all the nutrients bonded.
>60 minutes: Sugar crash, meaning activities in the body slow down, causing one to become irritable and sluggish.
A representative from Coca-Cola told the Daily Mail their product is safe to drink and can be incorporated into a healthy, balanced diet.
