Abortion and the Autism Trigger. Is There a Connection?

It is at the point of information that we Catholics are able to challenge the culture of death at work in modern vaccination protocols with a matchless ally--the truth. Epidemic regressive autism is associated with the switch from using animal cells in the production of vaccines to the use of aborted human fetal cells.

NASHVILLE, TN (Catholic Online) - Parents of young children are supremely confused over the autism-vaccine debate. What is a responsible Catholic parent to do in the face of the statistics? It is known that autism has risen 100 fold in the past several decades from relative zero before public vaccination programs began.

Statistics show autism rates of 1 in every 91 children in America, including 1 in every 58 boys, according to American Academy of Pediatrics, and 1 in every 64 children in the UK. The CDC's figures are a little more conservative, but still put the number at 1 in every 110.

Genetic or Environmental?

The issue is hotly debated. Celebrities with autistic children and autism groups decry the safety of the current vaccination schedule and draw attention to the possibility of a mercury-autism association. The CDC and the American Academy of Pediatrics vociferously argue that extensive research refutes such claims and that vaccines are perfectly safe.

In what some believe is an effort to control the numbers of families opting out of vaccination altogether due to perceived safety fears, the CDC and AAP emphasize the genetic component in autism development, saying that the safety of vaccines is scientifically undisputed and that the numbers of children who are not fully vaccinated has now reached the point that public immunity may be compromised.

Research into the matter sheds light on both sides. The scientific community has done careful, comprehensive research that rules out mercury as a trigger for autism. But while there is a demonstrated genetic component, autism is not caused by only one gene. Multiple genes are associated with autism, which indicates a necessary environmental trigger.

Incidentally, studies have shown there is some unknown environmental factor involved in the development of autism, so that children with the genetic predisposition will develop the disease when they come in contact with it. While the genetic autism component is obviously triggered by something environmental, the dramatic acceleration in the rate of autism cases threatens the public health system, both in controlling the disease, and the rising numbers of un-vaccinated children.

According to Dr. Theresa Deisher, development director for Ave Maria Biotechnology Company and president of the Sound Choice Pharmaceutical Institute which promote pro-life biotechnology, it was the striking correlation between the spike in autism cases and the implementation dates of widespread public vaccination protocols that first led scientists to suspect an autism-vaccine association. She goes so far as to say that "[v]accines are an obvious potential environmental trigger for autism."

Apparently others agree that correlation between new vaccine versions and the rise in autism cases continues to implicate vaccines in some way, such that the National Vaccine Advisory Committee has recommended further study of vaccine safety.

Abortion and the Autism Trigger

Indeed, it seems there may be a far more sinister culprit. Recently produced vaccines indicate the presence of "MRC5 residual DNA" and contaminating residual DNA from "human diploid cells" in package inserts. What they do not tell consumers, however, is that a "human diploid cell" is a cell from an aborted fetus.

The use of fresh, electively aborted fetal material and aborted fetal cell lines is pervasive in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry due to human genetic similarities, but it is those same similarities that are so potentially dangerous.

There is no law requiring disclosure about the use of aborted fetal cell lines in vaccine or medicine production or the presence of such cells in particular vaccines. And there has been no study (until the one initiated at SCPI this spring) on the safety of injecting children with aborted fetal cells. 

In contrast, the authors of a 2008 FDA paper about cancer dangers of residual human DNA state "Whether this residual cell-substrate DNA can induce tumors in vaccine recipients and thus represent a risk factor has been debated for over 50 years without resolution." Studies consistently show that the insertion of residual DNA into the genome (gene therapy) causes tumors, especially in the young.

It has been debated for decades, but no research has ever been done to verify the safety of such a vaccine practice. One can only presume that this because the abortion industry profits handsomely from the sale of school-required vaccines which contain their by-products.

The shocking immorality of the presence of tissues from aborted babies in vaccines that all children receive, the lack of full disclosure to consumers, and the utter travesty that these babies are being used over and over in such heinous ways without our knowledge causes responsible citizens who hear of it to shrink in horror. If Catholics do not object to the possible dangers, surely they must object to the complete lack of ethics involved.

Epidemic regressive autism is associated with the switch from using animal cells in the production of vaccines to the use of aborted human fetal cells. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) announced this year, after analyzing worldwide autism disorder incidence data, that it has identified 1988 as a critical "changepoint" in the rate of rise of autism, and 1980 and '95 as secondary "changepoints."

According to an article by Dr. Deisher at SPCI, "the only environmental event correlating with these statistical autism trend 'changepoints' which would impact almost all children was the introduction of vaccines produced using human fetal cells and containing residual human DNA and cellular debris."

The MMRII vaccine containing fetal cells was introduced in 1979, a 2nd dose of MMRII was introduced in 1988, and Chicken pox in 1995. Since 1979, vaccinations include the delivery of aborted human fetal DNA into young immune systems, with no knowledge of how it affects vulnerable biological structures, and autism rates are soaring.

The Catholic Position

Catholic Bishops in Britain denounced the practice as a widespread biomedical evil that is "parasitic on the evils of abortion and fetal experimentation" in 1994, and said that the refusal of Catholics to vaccinate was "one way of seeking to turn medicine from a course which will increasingly subvert people's confidence in it."

For those who find any suggestion to refuse vaccination abhorrent, The Pontifical Academy for Life (PLA) in Moral Reflections on Vaccines Prepared From Cells Derived From Aborted Human Foetuses released in 2005, assured Catholics in summary that the legality of such practices and vaccines does not exclude them from a "grave responsibility to use alternative vaccines and to make a conscientious objection with regard to those which have moral problems," and that knowingly choosing to use tainted vaccines should be understood as "passive material cooperation and, in its mildest and remotest sense, also active material cooperation" in abortion.

"Such cooperation occurs in a context of moral coercion of the conscience of parents, who are forced to choose to act against their conscience or otherwise, to put the health of their children and of the population as a whole at risk. This is an unjust alternative choice, which must be eliminated as soon as possible," the document said.

The Truth Will Set You Free

In Evangelium Vitae, John Paul II decried the sweeping deceit involved in institutional hiding of such practices from consumers, attempts to marginalize them in clinical language, and the evil of the practices themselves. He framed this and other biomedical ethical struggles as the supernatural conflict between the culture of life and the culture of death, calling us to direct language and biomedical transparency:

"We need now more than ever to have the courage to look the truth in the eye and to call things by their proper name, without yielding to convenient compromises or to the temptation of self-deception."
