What's really happening? Tourists film mysterious cloud vortex and UFO in Switzerland

'CGI?? Really? Not even the best or most powerful computers could generate a visual like that!'

Tourists from the United States captured a curious cloud vortex appear above Geneva, Switzerland. What amazes isn't the mysterious shape of the clouds, it's the orb of light believed to be a UFO flying into the center of the vortex before the clouds dissipate.

LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic Online) - The questionable vortex -and unbelievable UFO - appear for just over a minute in the video.

As soon as the UFO, which appears from the bottom right of the camera, enters the center of the vortex, the clouds immediately disappear, leading many to believe the curious cloud formation was an interdimensional portal.

As explained by Section51, the portal appeared above the CERN project site and is home to a Large Hadron Collider (LHC) - the largest and most powerful particle accelerator in the world.

Colliders play an important role in particle physics and are required in most facilities, though none are as grand as the LHC.

The LHC takes particles and accelerates them to high kinetic energy levels - energy as a result of being in motion - and slams them into a target. What happens when the LHC is in use varies widely depending on the intensity of the experiment, such as in 2015 when CERN doubled its ability to create a "bag of strangelets" and "micro-black holes."

The goal of the CERN project is to explore the unknown "dark universe" but many are concerned with the project's mascot - the Hindu god Shiva, who is known to be the god of destruction.

Stephen Quayle, a radio host, photographer and author, warned: "The men who would play God, in searching for the God particle [subatomic particles responsible for giving matter different properties], are truly going to find more than they bargained for as they open the gates of hell. 

"They will find inter-dimensional beings who have a taste for human flesh and humanities destruction. Most scientists, in lacking an understanding of the 'supernatural entities' that are going to confront them, are way beyond their ability to comprehend, let alone control, the forces of Pandora's box that will be released." 

Meanwhile, many believe the video was the result of computer generated images (CGI), but one person commented on the YouTube video with, "CGI?? Really? Not even the best or most powerful computers could generate a visual like that!"

Others believe it is a hoax regardless of whether or not CGI was used. One comment read, "It's crazy how lost most of you are when it comes to this stuff."
