This Beautiful Prayer is For You

Years ago after a retreat I attended, the Lord gave me a prayer which I've since remembered, which is kind of amazing because if there's anything I'm not so great at it's memorizing things word for word. Thank God it's a short prayer and that He knows my shortcomings all too well:-)

NASHVILLE, TN - I try to say this prayer daily, often multiple times a day, and every time I'm at Mass just before receiving the Holy Eucharist.
I bring all of this up because I'm feeling convicted to share this prayer with all of you as well so you can adopt if you'd like. Maybe you'll just read the prayer for today or maybe it will become a part of your daily prayer. Either way, this is the prayer...
Pray with your new Rosary this Lent
Lord, please cleanse and protect me from unclean spirits.
Fill my heart with your JOY and LOVE and help me to spread it to others.
There are two things I've asked the Lord to fill me with through this prayer - Joy and Love.
How this recently became to me. I had never made the connection before, but this prayer was given to me about five years ago or so; however, I started this blog about three years ago. When I started the blog, this prayer wasn't in my head at all, but I can now see what Lord was doing - the dots He was connecting.
Joy and Love in the prayer.
Laughs and Love as the name of my blog.
The Lord is good. He knows well His plans indeed and is laying the foundation of our lives, writing an unique story for each of us. Cooperate with Him because I think the story will end beautifully.
