'All these other guys - God bless them': Star of 'God's Club' shares why he supports Donald Trump

'I like Donald Trump potentially as a president, because he doesn't care what you think.'

The youngest Baldwin brother opens up about his decision to support Donald Trump's presidential campaign.

LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic Online) - Stephen Baldwin told The Church Boys that he chose to support Donald Trump's bid for the presidency because he feels the businessman's personality is just brazen enough to get the job done.

"I like Donald Trump because - I said this to Don Lemon on CNN a week before the first Republican national debate - I said, 'I like Donald Trump as a man, I like Donald Trump potentially as a president, because he doesn't care what you think,'" Baldwin admitted.

Despite examples indicating otherwise, Baldwin firmly believes Trump would be open to constructive criticism but would ultimately do "what's best for the country" without compromising his stance.

Of other Republican candidates, Baldwin simply stated: "All these other guys - God bless them. A couple of them are Christians ... they're politicians and I believe in my opinion the one guy that will really do his very best to do what he says he's doing [sic] to do without compromise [is Trump].

Baldwin didn't hesitate to proclaim Trump is "blessed" and has "lived the American dream." The actor claimed Trump is "more 'regular joe'" and stated, "Underneath it I really just think he's a family guy. He's more down-to-earth than people realize."

Thousands of Americans have been voting for Trump across primaries and caucuses this year, and Baldwin believes it is because "They trust that he's actually going to get in there and make America great again."

Personally, Baldwin admitted: "I think this guy is smart enough to have taken his brand, his company and his success and multiplied it beyond what he stepped into from his dad ... and people would debate that - about what was good, what was bad, the things he's done corporately with his business. The guy is a billionaire. You have to be pretty smart to make a billion dollars."

Well, who can argue with that?
