en.romereports.com Cardinal Philippe Xavier Ignace Barbarin, is Archbishop of Lyon and Primate of the Gauls. He was born in Rabat, Marocco in the year 1950. He studied at the Sorbonne University. At the age of 23, he joined the Carmelite seminary and at 27, he was ordained to the priesthood.
