Gospel Reflections Mathew 18:21-35
Uploaded by on Mar 4, 2013
In today's Gospel we hear the parable of the man forgiven his debt who in turn does not forgive the debt of one to him but rather treats him horribly having him cast in to prison. This Lent as we turn to God in repentance, indeed throughout the year when we do so, we are the recipients of God's gracious mercy. Mercy undeserved yet freely given by our Lord. In the measure that we receive so are we to give. Our human nature can make such forgiveness difficult but yet that is exactly what Christ calls us to. In this Gospel Reflection I talk about Gods forgiveness and the call to us as well as ways to begin moving toward a forgiving heart. Posted to http://www.catholicfamilyman.com
