Archbishop Piero Marini - Witness
Uploaded by on Feb 1, 2013
For twenty years, and over the course of two pontificates, Piero Marini stood at the right hand of the Pope. As the Master of Pontifical Liturgical Ceremonies, this Italian liturgist officiated at all of the papal ceremonies, leading to his own ordination as bishop in 1998 and elevation to the rank of archbishop in 2003. Four years later, he was appointed as president of the Pontifical Committee for International Eucharistic Congresses. In this Witness interview, Archbishop Piero Marini shares his passion for liturgy -- especially the Eucharist -- and reveals some deeply personal insights and experiences of his close collaboration with Popes John Paul II and Benedict XVI. saltandlighttv.org
