This morning, in the splendid setting of the Sistine Chapel, on the Feast of the Baptism of Jesus, the Pope gave the first sacrament of Christian life to 20 babies, the children of Vatican employees. Addressing the godparents, the Holy Father in his homily pointed out that today, it is not easy to show openly and without compromise what you believe in the face of a society that often considers those who live in the faith of Jesus old-fashioned and out of date.
