St Maximilian Kolbe is the patron of our difficult times because he had the remedy for the woes of our time, Consecration to the Immaculate Virgin Mother of God. With this he conquered the indifferentism of Europe, the Nazi invasion of Poland, Auschwitz concentration camp, and the starvation bunker.
