Peter and Paul focusing on the primacy of Peter and how he and his successors are the authoritative head of the Church and how Paul as the main preacher to the Gentiles represents the missionary spirit of the Church. Both Peter and Paul were martyred on this day as a sign to us of the need for unity of both authority and evangelical spirit in order to bring conversion to the true faith. Ave Maria! +++
