Fr. Elias presents the apostles as being sent by Our Lord to proclaim the faith in bold and certain terms to a world that prefers uncertainty and temerity. This can bring suffering to our pastors but also for the sheep, that to be a part of the flock is to share in the work of the pastor and therefore we too must bear the cross of evangelizing. In this way both sheep and shepherds will reach the green pastures of heaven. Ave Maria!
