Benito was a member of the Brothers of the Christian Schools, entering the novitate on 7 August 1926. Martyr of Turón killed in during the Spanish Civil War.

Why do some catholics believe they can break the Lenten fast on sundays?
Please direct me in finding more detailed information on St.Benito. Where was he from, what is he patron saint of, what country is he most known and/or celebrated? Thank you.
I found very little information on Saint Benito, such as why was he beatified, what is he patron of, etc. If you could direct me in my search, I would be very gratefull.
