ORLANDO, FL (Catholic Online) - During a stunt performance before millions, Woode was hoisted aloft on a male cheerleader's shoulders when she lost balance and couldn't regain it. She tumbled backwards, landing head-first onto the court.
Doctors say she has suffered fractures to her ribs and vertebrae, but luckily, nothing worse.
The tumble was made all the more dramatic by its live broadcast on national television.
