False gods: Obama Proclaims, 'Thank you, Planned Parenthood. god bless you'

The Scriptures tell us of a false god, a god of death, a god who particularly loved the blood of children

Whatever god Obama invoked when he "blessed" Planned Parenthood, which is apparently the god he knows and feels comfortable invoking (assuming "god" is more than just a word for him or a matter of political expediency), we can be assured that it is not the living God of the living, the God of life, which is to say, it is not the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

Highlights

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX (Catholic Online) - There is only one God, the "creator of heaven and earth," as we say in our Creed.  This one God is the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the God from whom Moses hid his face for he was afraid to look at him (Ex. 3:6), who revealed himself to Moses as "I am who am" (Ex. 3:13-15), and who gave Moses the Ten Commandments, one of which was "You shall not murder" (Ex. 20:1-7; Deut. 5:4-21)

This was the God of the Jewish prophets, such as Elijah (1 Kings 13:36-37).  This God of the living, the Deus vivorum, was the God of Jesus Christ (Matt. 22:31-32), and so the God of the Christian Church, including the God of Peter, the first Pope (Acts 3:13).

This one-only God is the Deus vivus, the "living God, who made the heaven, the earth, the sea, and all that are in them" (Acts 14:15).  This "living God" is also the "God of life," the Deus vitae, as Pope John Paul II called him in his Encyclical Evangelium vitae.  This "God of life" is the author of  the Gospel of life, the Evangelium vitae.  EV, Nos. 83-84.

This God once said "I hate divorce"  (Mal. 2:16).  We can be sure that this God says with even greater vehemence, "I hate abortion," inasmuch as it is an "unspeakable crime" against life.  GS, No. 51; EV, No. 58.

Now, the Scriptures tell us of a false god, a god of death, a god who particularly loved the blood of children.  This god--an idol, actually--is the exact opposite of the living God of the living, the God of life.  This false god's name Moloch.  This false god loves abortion.

Found long ago among the children of Israel as a result of foreign (Ammonite) influence, this false god wreaked havoc among the ancient Israelites by demanding child sacrifice, the so-called "abomination of the children of Ammon" (1 Kings 11:7).  The chief feature of Moloch's cult was the sacrifice of children, which is described in the biblical texts as passing through fire, probably a reference to the holocaust effect of the sacrificial rites.  The chief place of Moloch's cult was a place called Tophet (2 Kings 23:10; Jer. 7:30-32).

There are many modern worshipers of Moloch, though they no longer call him by that name.  He and his worship are now called by euphemisms such as "Pro-Choice," "Freedom," "Women's Health," and so forth, and so his hardness and his vileness are veiled.  The sacrifices occur in so-called "clinics," where the altars are medical exam tables or beds.  Ann Coulter called Moloch's Church the "Church of Liberalism," and she noted that it has dogma and a sacrament.  As she put it in her book Godless: The Church of Liberalism, "Abortion is their sacrament and Roe v. Wade is Holy Writ."  Coulter might have also said that Planned Parenthood is Moloch's "church," or (ahem) rather coven.

It is because of institutions such as Planned Parenthood that:

Once again, we hear the drumbeat of Moloch:
. . . MOLOCH, horrid King besmear'd with blood
Of human sacrifice, and parents tears,
Though, for the noyse of Drums and Timbrels loud,
Their children's cries unheard that passed through fire
To his grim Idol. . . .

I say all this as a predicate to Obama's invocation of "God's blessing" upon Planned Parenthood in his address to representatives of that organization on Friday, April 26, 2013, the first by a President of the United States.

Planned Parenthood has the notoriety of being the largest abortion provider in the United States. It is a coven composed of some of Moloch's most assiduous disciples.  They are somewhat akin to the assassins of the Isma'ili or the thugs devoted to the Hindu god Kali or the devotees of the Aztec god Huitzilopochtli in that they are worshipers of a god whose demand is death.

Now, I would not quarrel with President Obama if he had blessed Planned Parenthood as if they were enemies.  After all, St. Paul tells us to "bless our enemies," or at least bless those who persecute the Church.  (Rom. 12:14)  This sort of blessing would be a call to conversion, a prayer that they turn to the Lord of life.

This is not however Obama's intendment.  It is clear that he supports Planned Parenthood and all its pompa diaboli:  "Thank you, Planned Parenthood," he said.  Thank-you?  For what?  Killing 333,964 American babies through abortions in 2013 and an estimated 1,425,746 as a result of so-called "morning after" pills it distributes which often are nothing other than abortifacients?

"Planned Parenthood is not going anywhere," he told them to their applause.  "It's not going anywhere today.  It's not going anywhere tomorrow."  Apparently, Obama is promising that the gates of heaven won't prevail against Planned Parenthood.

Clearly, President Obama supports Planned Parenthood and its spreading of the anti-life "gospel," its death cult, its anti-virtue of unchastity.  "We've got to spread the word, particularly among young women."  This seems to be a diabolical corruption of the Jesuit maxim: "Give us a child until he's seven, and I'll show you the man."  "Give us your daughter until she's seven, and we'll show you the woman," is what Obama is suggesting.

The young women--even some of our daughters, perhaps--captured by Planned Parenthood will not have the virtue of chastity we associate with the likes of St. Maria Goretti, but rather, will enjoy the more dubious virtues of a Sandra Fluke.  (Again, help me here, what are Sandra Fluke's virtues?  How again was she chaste?  In what manner was she heroic?)  What do we call her, an anti-saint?)

We ask you, humbly: don't scroll away.

"We,"--he said using the Presidential "we," as if he is speaking for all of us--"are truly grateful to you."  Clearly, Obama's fawning indicates unswerving support of Planned Parenthood's contraceptive creed, and its abortion sacrament, and its rabid votaries who conspire with the demon of death.

Mr. President: We cannot ask the living God of the living, the God of life, to bless the work of Moloch. To invoke God to bless the work of Moloch is to defile the name of God: "Do not give any of your children to be sacrifice to Moloch, for you must not defile the name of your God.  I am the Lord."  (Lev. 18:21)

What is true of the false god of money Mammon--you cannot love God and Mammon, either you hate the one and love the other, or sustain the one and despise the other (Matt. 6:24)--is true of the false god of abortion and contraception, Moloch.

You cannot love God and Moloch, either you hate God and love Moloch--and so support Planned Parenthood--or you love God and despise Moloch--and would never be found in any way supporting this organization, the grim reaper of unchastity and death, the destroyer of youth and their souls.

Whatever god Obama invoked when he "blessed" Planned Parenthood, which is apparently the god he knows and feels comfortable invoking (assuming "god" is more than just a word for him or a matter of political expediency), we can be assured that it is not the living God of the living, the God of life, which is to say, it is not the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the Creator of heaven and earth.

Though I don't know which god Obama invoked, I would venture to guess it was Moloch, and if not Moloch, perhaps a distant cousin, such as Baal or Huitzilopochtli.  Whoever it was, I don't want the god of Planned Parenthood, the god who "blesses" Planned Parenthood, to be the same god blessing the United States.

I want the living God of the living, the God of life, which is to say, the the God of our fathers, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the God of the Jewish prophets, the God of Jesus Christ, the Creator of heaven and earth, to bless the United States, and none other.  And that is the only God I want our President invoking, and not some foreign god of the Ammonites who relishes in death, especially the death of the most vulnerable and the most innocent among us.
