Pobrecito! Norwegan mass-murderer is being abused in prison!

"Pobrecito!" Confessed, and convicted Norwegian mass-murderer Anders Behring Breivik, who killed 77 people, mostly children in a murder spree, is upset over the inhumanity of his prison conditions. Breivik, 33, is serving a 21-year sentence for the murders. He claims he was trying to protect his country from the "evil of multiculturalism."

LOS ANGELES, LA (Catholic Online) - Breivik faces tough conditions in his Norwegian prison cell, which has only three rooms. Complaining to his attorney, Breivik wrote a letter in which he detailed the depredations he must endure. He managed to fill the letter with 27 pages of complaints.

Among his complaints were that his letters were being censored, he must use only a soft, bendable safety pen when writing, and that the pen cramps his hand, making it difficult for him to write his book.

He claims the stab-proof pen is a "manifestation of sadism" on the part of his captors.

He also complains about being forced to use only an electric typewriter instead of having access to the internet. Breivik had internet access during his trial.

Breivik would like butter.

And a thermos. Without a thermos, his coffee gets cold too quickly.

He does not like his handcuffs and would like them to be more comfortable.

He is upset that he has had to endure some 800 strip searches by guards.

He is unhappy that he is allowed no social interaction with other inmates - he would like company, aside from his jailers.

And of course, a view. He complained that his cell has no view of the outside world and he would like one.

"Such treatment isn't human" Breivik wrote in his 27-page missive.

He wants his fan mail. He doesn't like that his only correspondence is from "New-Testament Christians and other people who do not like me."

On the other hand, Breivik does appreciate his television and exercise equipment.

Breivik is serving the country's maximum sentence in the toughest conditions the country has. Although he writes, "I highly doubt that there are worse detention facilities in Norway," he should consider himself lucky that he isn't doing his time in another country where conditions are more austere than liberal Norway's.

Most importantly, he should consider the fact that he will be released in 21 years and that he is even alive to contemplate his existence in the first place.

Still, some people you just can't please.
