Aunque en realidad no soy par nada una buena persona no hace mucho que me convertÃ, real y convencidamente al catolicismo, con todas mis faltas y errores. Mis primeros mentores fueron Cristo y la Virgen MarÃa, pero después llegó a mà San MartÃn de Porres he hizo muchos milagros por mà y me demostró son un verdadero y real amigo y hermano. Sin embargo me siguen venciendo la mayorÃa de mis faltas humanas. Siempre suelo tener una estampa de Sn. MarÃn en mi cartera, pero soy muy propenso a regalarlas tan pronto veo que alguien lo necesita igual que yo. Como ya no me habÃa llegado más imágenes sentà que quizás Sn. MartÃn me estaba abandonando, yo sabÃa que sobraban razones para que lo hiciera, asà que el domingo 3 julio 2011 fuà a misa y pasé por una estatua de Sn MartÃn y le pregunté si ya me habÃa abandonado. Cuando dà pocos pasos tome un volante en donde hablaba de Santa MarÃa Goretti, leà su historia y me llamó mucho la atención, tuve ese volante por un rato en mi posesión y fue justamente el 6 de julio -su dÃa- cuando yo sin saber và su pelÃcula y entendà que San MartÃn me habÃa cedido a la custodia y guÃa de esta Santita, al ver esta pelÃcula me pude identificar plenamente con Alessandro su asesino. Y de alguna manera sé que Santa Maria Goretti se ha responsabilizado por mà ahora y está trabajando para enderesar mi torcida manera de ser, en pro de mi propia alma. Ahora Santa MarÃa Goretti es mi campeoncita y la que -si Dios nos lo permite- me llevará por esta vida hasta que mis heridas se curen y mi alma se purifique y fortalezca y quiero poner de mi parte para que ella pueda ofrecer un nuevo triunfo de amor para Dios. Creo que para 2 ó 3 semanas que me he encomendado a ella, ya veo efectivos cambios en mis ser que no creà que llegarÃan. Dios bendiga a Marietta Goretti y a todos los que en ella confÃen su camino. ¡Nos vemos en el paraiso todos juntos fratellini!
St.Maria Goretti pray for us...You know what is purity, chastity and modesty. you value them a lot as christian virtues. You were not easily carried away by the worldly emotions and feelings.Who had a healthy, mature, pious and God fearing family background. you had dedicated your virginity to Christ our Lord alone. you were a ordinary girl with extraordinary Power to conquer sin and impurity. You know what is right and what is wrong. You were a wise girl. We are beautiful but have no wisdom and fear of God. Help us to respect others and love without selfishness and hidden plan.Make our hearts pure and overcome temptations and lust.
thanx for the inspiration you give to the youth,help teach my missionary children the way to live and guide them in the way of forgiveness...intercede for me to have wisdom to teach them and help them through their teenage years...Amen.
Happy Feastday St. Maria! I remember reading the book about you, In Graments of Red I think was the name of it. I loved it and all of my daughters read it. One of my daughters took your name at confirmation. Please watch over us all and bless my grandchildren.

I love to bear the name Maria Goretti because her life inspired me so much.
I always find the story of Maria Goretti very encouraging esp at this time when our purity as young people is at the greatest assault. I'm going to share her life during our legion of mary meeting (junior) this week.
