   St. Rose please pray that I will be inspired again to pray and attend mass. Help me to be positive in everything, slow to anger and gentle in all my ways. Please help me achieve my goals in life and help my family. Help us financially so that we may be able to pay our debts. Help us to pray for world peace. Help us to pray for the corrupt leaders of the Philippines. In Jesus name through Mother Mary and St. Joseph's intercession. Amen.

   St. Rose's feast day celebration had been Aug. 30 until Vatican II changed it to Aug. 23 (why they did this, I don't know except it may be because she died Aug. 24). I observe it on both days to be correct to today's church but to stay true to the Traditional Church.

   It used to be August 30th for many years. Somewhere in the 1970's it was switched to August 25rd.

    According to the Catholic Calendar of Saints, St. Rose of Lima died August 24, 1617, and the Catholic Church celebrates her feast day on August 23. You show her feast day to be August 30. That is not correct. Thank you for your interesting listing of saints.

    I really like st rose of lima because she is also our patron saint. For me, she reveals the love and the goodness of Jesus. Contemplating Rose, is Contemplating JESUS.
