St. Raymond Nonnatus Comments

Raymond was born at Portella, Catalonia, Spain. He was delivered by caesarean operation when his mother died in childbirth. Hence his name non natus (not born). He remained as hostage for several slaves when his money ran out and was sentenced to be impaled when the governor learned that he had converted ... Continue Reading

Dr. Raymond, please help us with the unborn child i'm carrying. My husband and I struggled to get pregnant and now there is concern that there might be something wrong with the child. Please intercede for us that this child will grow healthy and strong in my womb and that I may have a healthy and successful pregnancy. Please be with me when I give birth so that I may raise this child in the loving Catholic church. Amen!

    Beloved Saint Raymond,

I have an amnotic band inside my uterus which poses a huge threat to my unborn child. I pray with all my heart that the umbilical cord or any part of the baby does not get wrapped up in the band. I pray to give birth to a healthy baby with no abnormalities at 40 weeks. I love you. Amen

When I was pregnant, I prayed to St. Raymond...on my 8th month, I had painless bleeding due to the placenta previa; I delivered via casearian and through God's mercy, despite my daughter's premature birth, she came out healthy and did not need to be incubated.

God is good! St. Raymond, thank you for praying for me and with me.

I believe in the intercession of saints & right now is a good time to ask for his help to strengthen our faith & trust in our Creator amidst unfolding plans in our married life. We certainly wish for a child but it's all dependent on God's will & may His will be done.

My Dad and oldest son are both named Raymond, I was born on September 1 in the 40's, and remember when our patron saint's name was on the General Roman Calendar. I wish it was still there. St. Raymond, please get it back on!
