   I cannot explain this, but from way back, I had a very strong desire to continually pray to you even though I didn't know you very well. I only knew you were the Saint to pray to for lost things, causes, etc. My husband was named after you. He passed away four years ago. I always pray to you whenever I lose something and always... you are there to help me! And I was confused about your name. Are you called Anthony of Padua or Anthony of Lisbon? So today, I made up my mind to make a research on you and I was not disappointed. You are all that I believe you are... and more!!! Thank you for enlightening me and giving me a chance to get to know you better. You are a Saint after my own heart! I am teaching Speech and Literature at a Seminary here in Bacolod City, Philippines....way, way out in the Far East!!! I have been brought up a Catholic all my life and went to Catholic schools all my life. I have traveled to Europe and seen the places where you lived. I resided in the United States for 24 years and have also been given the gift of speaking well. May you continue to help me out in my teaching and help me inspire the Seminarians to really speak well and share God's word and God's love to everyone they come in contact with. I enjoy my job very much...but I am not a priest and can't preach and do much. But I really try to inspire the Seminarians to give out their best when they speak and talk about God. I repeat, you are certainly a Saint after my own heart! I thank God and praise Him for giving the Catholic world a wonderful saint like you! Praise the Lord!!!

   You had been kind to this humble servant over the years representing my petitions to Child Jesus, who ever loved to linger in your arms. I thank you for the favors granted to me.
   
   I am now hard pressed to start my family after 7 years of married life as my wife had lost both her fallopian tubes during two ectopic pregnancies. The doctors have washed their hands off for a natural conception. But my faith in you has forced me to raise this petition online so it is not just me who will be a witness to the miracle that I pray for.

   I pray for you to intervene and help me with all that I am going through at this time. Please pray that my mom go walking everyday so that her legs will get stronger and for my brother Paul who gets home late at night- keep him safely and in good health and for my husband who is not doing too good at work- he doesn't want to be there. Please help him to be happy. St Anthony please pray that we will get the money to pay for my daughter's tuition and my mortgage which is two months behind and also my car payments coming up shortly. Please pray that I get a job soon to help with the expenses, Lord. I pray also for my daughter to gain employment in Jesus' name I pray. Amen. Please intervene for me St. Anthony.

    i'm forever grateful to all the blessings the Lord has given me. i thank him truly and deeply with my whole heart. but my dear beloved saint, i give them nothing but shame. my family and my husband n his family r disgraced n secretly mocked cos i cant pass a qualifying exam n practice my profession. on top of tht is the financial problems tht we have. pls pray for me. pls pray i get a god job to support my family n to help me further in studies and career.     I pray for your intercession for our marriage where the love is lost and so is the bonding my husband has left home a year back, i pray he reconciles , please St Anthony please interceed for us in this critical time , I pray he starts communicating and forgives me whenever I have hurt him .
