St. Andrew Comments

Andrew, like his brother Simon Peter, was a fisherman. He became a disciple of the great St. John the Baptist, but when John pointed to Jesus and said, "Behold the Lamb of God!" Andrew understood that Jesus was greater. At once he left John to follow the Divine Master. Jesus knew that Andrew was walking behind him, and turning back, he asked, "what do you seek?" When Andrew answered that he would like to know where Jesus lived, Our Lord ... Continue Reading

    Dear Apostle Andrew,

This is the firt time I am writing you a letter and I am very pleased to do so. You and I go back a long time to the early 1980's when I first read an article on you in one of the Catholic journals and it touched me so much that I wanted you to be my friend and we have been the best of friends to this day and it will last a lifetime. It has been an incredibly rewarding and satifying relationship. You were at my side protecting me during the most dangerous times of my life and in times of dispair you never ceased to encourage me.

Apostle Andrew, this month is November and it is your Feast Month and this year your Feast Day will fall on Saturday, 30 November 2013. I had always celebrated your Feast Day and I look forward to celebrating your Feast Day this year in Walhalla a small leafy & panaromic village in the mountains where I hope to spend three days. We did the same thing last year and it was an incredibly enjoyable three days in the mountains. We will be praying, reading, walking and soaking up the beauty of the place.

Apostle Andrew, I am writing you this letter in deep dispair and I am now begging you in advance of your Feast Day to obtain a miracle for my extremely sick father who is fighting for his life in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in Box Hill. My dad (Misha) has had two very complex and dangerous open heart surgeries within 30 days of each other and it is a miracle he is still alive. We prayed for a miracle twice and both times GOD granted it and as dad was about to go to rehab centre he was struck down with a deadly infection.

Apostle Andrew, I am begging you to storm Heaven with your powerful prayers and unfailing intercessions begging the Throne of Grace to grant the third miracle for dad. Dad has already spent three months in hospital and everyone there wants him to leave the hospital alive as he has become a legend after surviving two major surgeries. The Risen Lord will not deny you anything so please obtain the third miracle for dad on your Feast Day. You are my patron saint and a great friend in Heaven that has never disappointed me.

    LOVE IS ALL
