Orthodox Patriarch Bartholomew Speaks Out Strongly! No to Homosexual 'Marriage' Comments

Thanks be to God for such a strong, apostolic, and prophetic voice in the midst of the moral confusion of the world! Patriarch Bartholomew speaks with wonderful clarity, without vilifying anyone. He courageously points to a form of behaviour that undermines the nature of man and then calls on all persons -- regardless of the sexual inclinations they may experience -- to recognize the profound falsehood behind homosexualized self-images and the damage they cause to individuals, families, and society.

I pray that the Holy Spirit will continue to direct our dear Pope Francis as he fights against the culture of death in all its manifestations -- heterosexual abuses, homosexualism, abortion, child abuse, euthanasia, war, economic exploitation, etc. -- and that this good fight will lead to a reunion of the Catholic and Orthodox Churches into the One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church as our Lord envisions it to be.
