    I find the title and tone of this article misleading. Obama did not promise that" Churches won't have to perform gay weddings". He simple stated a fact. "How religious institutions define and consecrate marriage has always been up to those institutions. Nothing about this decision - which applies only to civil marriages - changes that". The tone of the article invites comments of the type "Well of course we cannot trust Obama". However, the fact that churches will not have to perform marriages has nothing to do with President Obama. Churches are simply not affected by this ruling of the Supreme Court.

    Regardless, if the government said that Churches had to perform gay marriages, they wouldn't.

    So it's Obama that shouldn't have to worry, not us.

    If God is for us, who can be against us?

    Obama?
