Truly Pope Benedict XVI has blessed the Church by placing such devoted shepherds in key locations to help salvage the faith in America. Their learned and wise guidance is long overdue but sincerely appreciated by the faithful who understand the gravity of the situation in which we find ourselves today. But we pray the impact will not be limited to a single bombshell here and there because we need this effort of the Holy Father to be like an earthquake trembling and shattering the structures of our modern paganism established as a result of past timidity to proclaim the full Gospel of Christ to a public being saturated daily with the liberal progressive propaganda of seeking the heights of human achievement through personal pleasure and the notion to live life to the fullest you must be able to set your own rules least you be saddled with superstitions of the past.
So, though the positioning of these shepherds sets our battle stations well, to be effective in fighting the intrinsic evil which is ramped within our society today the faithful in every parish in the nation must have both the ability and the local guidance of their clergy as to how to access the proclamations and battle plans initiated by the bishops. Many parishes are starving for local leadership which should provide but rarely do echo the voices of their bishops regarding political issues that directly determine the fabric and future of our society. A viable network of faithfully conveying the wisdom of our good shepherds down the line to every person in the pews must be resolutely established and nurtured if the Holy Fathers best intentions are to reach the noble goals of his inspired primacy.

Salvatore Cordileone is a loving, spiritual, welcoming, brilliant, faithful Catholic man and priest. Criticizing Archbishop Cordileone for upholding and defending the teachings of the Catholic Church is tantamount to criticizing a President of the United States for upholding and defending the Constitution of the United States. We are grateful to our Holy Father for this providential appointment.
