One of the last surviving cast members of 'Gone With the Wind,' Ann Rutherford dies
Her role as Carreen was a small one, but gained her the greatest fame
Her role in the classic American film, "Gone With the Wind," was a small
one. Ann Rutherford played Carreen, Scarlet O'Hara's youngest sister.
It was in Rutherford's words, a "'nothing part'" that "turned my golden
years into platinum." In demand at countless "Gone With the Wind"
conventions, Rutherford has died at the age of 94.
